Quite a few books are available for this exam but two are worth mentioning.
USMLE WORLD This book is considered to be the main book for the exam
It has sufficient content and covers the exam well. It has
useful mnemonics which are nearly universally known by
the CS students. It comes with a CD guiding you about
the physical examination and practical stuff of the exam.
The only deficiency is that most of the students find it
insufficient as far as patient not samples are concerned.
Over all its a useful and time tested success tool
FIRST AID This book also covers the exam well. It is a bit more
detailed. If you are not satisfied with the concise pattern
of UW, than this is the choice. It also covers the written
part of the exam very well.
